I first learned to weave as an art student on the California Central Coast.  In the last year, I’ve picked up handweaving again after a very long layoff.

This time around I have my years of design experience and life confidence to draw on and I’m finding that weaving is a great distraction from my too stressful work life.

This blog documents my journey of the fun of mixing colors, textures and patterns; exploring weave patterns; and making useful things for my home–Afterall, I’m a practical girl.

To find out  more about my inspiration to begin weaving again, what keeps me going, and past and current projects, check out some of my blogs.
